Hello all!
A few of you who are regular readers may have noticed that my website now boasts a new logo and a couple of coordinating color changes. One of my long-term goals has been to zero in on what I want my Etsy shop to be about, and that also means this website, where I blog about my adventures in the craft world.
While I thought about including cross-stitch and other needlework in the products and services I offer, at the end of the day, it really came down to crochet (and now knitting).
Since 2014, my shop also offered photographs for sale in various formats. I did sell a few but not as many as I thought I would. What really drew people to my shop were the crocheted items I sell.
For 2018, I decided to shed the photographs for sale and focus on what’s working for me. While I am still a photography hobbyist and I do love a good cross-stitch pattern, those hobbies aren’t ultimately what my small business is about, although the photography skills come in handy for a blog and an Etsy shop.
I definitely have some plans for new things to try and add to the shop and I will be blogging about them as they develop. Here’s to the next chapter with zavvy creations!
*Side note: as of this writing, my Etsy shop is on vacation until mid-April, but will return with a fresh stock of custom-order and in-stock listings!*
*Other side note: if you’re in the market for a new logo for your own business, I can’t speak highly enough of working with Valerie of inkblot.*
